CQ Certification and CQ Train-the-Trainer

CQ Certification Objectives and CQ Learning Portal Registration:

Certification and Train-the-Trainer Objectives: 

To train and certify participants to: understand the CQ model, debrief the CQ feedback reports, and deliver our Developing CQ workshop.


Step #1: Course Access (CQ Learning Portal Registration): 

To access the Certification digital course materials, register for an account through our CQ Learning Portal by clicking HERE. A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided.  Once you have created an account, move step #2.

If you already have an account in the CQ Learning Portal, please go to step #2.

Now that you have created your CQ Learning Portal account, click the Pre-Work link below to join this course and gain access to the Pre-Work and course materials.


Step #2: CQ Certification Course Pre-Work:

Access the digital Pre-Work and materials through our CQ Learning Portal HERE. (Make sure you are logged into your CQ Learning Portal before clicking the link above. You will be directed to join the Certification programme upon clicking the link.)

Pre-work is mandatory and must be completed by Wednesday 20th March 2024.

  • CQ 360 Assessment
  • Applying CQ: Using CQ in Everyday Life e-learning – consisting of 5 self-paced modules.

You will find these on your dashboard in your CQ Learning Portal account.


Step #3: CQ 360 Assessment Observers Instructions:

Please review the CQ 360 assessment guidelines prior to completing your assessment. It will provide you with additional information on the observers (inviting observers, seeing who has completed the observers portion, etc.) 

  • You need at least 3 observers for observer feedback to be visible on your assessment feedback report. We suggest you invite at least 5 observers.

Please note that it will take 1-2 hours to complete the self-paced pre-work. Additionally, please allow sufficient time to identify and select observers and have them answer the questionnaire. We suggest that you allow 10-14 days to complete the entire process.

 

Step #4: CQ Train-the-Trainer Course Registration:

Athough there is no mandatory Pre-Work, in order to have access to the train-the-trainer class materials you must register for the programme through our CQ Learning Portal HERE(Make sure you are logged into your CQ Learning Portal before clicking the link above. You will be directed to join the Train-the-Trainer programme upon clicking the link.)

All resources are available in the CQ Learning Portal (cqcenter.com) under “My Resources.” Please download them prior to the session and print or have available on a digital device. Hard copies of the manual will be sent to the venue.

Your Facilitator

Lucy Butters is a specialist in Cultural Intelligence and founded Elembee ltd in 2010 to support international ambition and inclusion, working primarily with universities in the UK. She is a Master Trainer with the Cultural Intelligence Centre and with Above Difference, a UK strategic partner of CQ Centre which works to improve inclusive leadership across the public sector.

Recent work includes training and coaching for leaders of companies participating on the Scottish Government’s international Scale-Up programme. Previously she worked for the British Council in international cultural relations roles linked with developing and implementing strategy to support the international ambitions of universities in Scotland.

On a personal level Lucy is the mother of triplet boys who are a constant reminder of the need to adjust her thinking, actions and expectations.‌

Your Event Coordinator

EMILY DORSCHLER, CLIENT EXPERIENCE AND GLOBAL EVENTS MANAGER

Emily works across the business to plan and coordinate training programmes, events and conferences, and leads the support of our community of around 3000 Certified Facilitators. She also supports the sales team to grow the UK business and manages the logistics of all UK client events.

Emily has a rescue dog who is her pride and joy, and around 80 tropical fish. In her free time she loves cycling, swimming and getting messy in her craft room.
